Spooned rockered tips

A long rocker combined with a long taper gives this tip unmatched float and stability in soft snow. Our spooned tip technology delivers an unmatched float and a catch-free and surfy feel in deep snow.

Camber under foot

A traditional cambered design gives you stability and versatility in any condition. On hardpack a camber design is unmatched.

Spooned rockered tails

A long rocker combined with a long taper gives this tip unmatched float and stability in soft snow. A tail suited for backward landings in powder! Our spooned tip technology delivers an unmatched float and a catch-free and surfy feel in deep snow.

Full poplar and bamboo wood core

By combining two types of wood, we ensure the best possible performance-to-weight ratio. Bamboo is a strong, responsive and bouncy wood, while poplar is very durable and responsive. Combined, the two give us a stable, responsive and playful core in a lightweight package. The P-tex 5920-base delivers great glide and durability throughout the season.

Sandwich construction

A sandwich construction delivers uncompromised power transfer and torsional stiffness in a durable package. Our scratch free topsheet is designed to handle all the beating your skis get season after season on the mountain. It is also developed so that a minimal amount of snow sticks to the topsheet.

Of the many mystical mountains in our area, Bleia is one of these. An inaccessible giant raising up from the darkness by the fjord. Only accessible by boat. Snow sticks year round in the dark north face, and is only visited by the most eager skiers once every couple of years. The select few who has been lucky enough to visit the area tell tales of the biggest pillows, deepest snow and wildest cliffs in the whole region.

RECOMMENDED ACCESORIES

urRakkar is an allmountain tool, and can be paired with a wide range of bindings, depending on how and where you want to use your skis. Are you going to play in the resort, the best choice is without a doubt a traditional ISO-binding like Marker Jester. If you mostly plan to take your skis touring we suggest a downhill oriented binding like Fritschi Tecton. Are you going to do a bit of both, a binding like Armada Shift will be the perfect partner in crime.

Stompy

In a word - Stompy.

Wet heavy snow days in the PNW.

Me: 43, 6’ tall, 165 lbs

Skis: 18/19 191 urrakkar w/ pivots at -5.5 from TC which is +1.5 from recommended. Spooned/Hulled tips and tails. Looking down at the top, you can’t tell.

The tips look like...a cross between a Bent Chet 120 and an armada ARG

Fit and finish on par with the top American micro brands. One part of the edge needed a quick deburr. Textured top sheets didn’t shed snow as well as I expected. But it looks and feels nice.

Durable AF. 5 seasons at this point. They ski powder like they are an extension of my legs

They are heavy enough to be stable AF, actually. They truck. A bit playful, but they are more of a fall line ski than I was expecting.

Pivot well. Nimble if you have the strength to give them input. There is a little more tail rocker length than a more directional powder ski, but there is also a little more tail. They break free of turns easily (a quality I value highly in the steep trees).

Buoyant for sure. Didn’t matter if I was neutral or all over the tips. These won’t sink.

They really aren’t fun on firm snow. Like at all. Bent chetler is WAY better on firm. But I'm not into 124mm skis for their firm snow performance

Since buying them, I have sold: On3p Cease and Desists, Revolt 121, Moment Ghost train and my on3p billy goats barely get used anymore.

SGN also sent a note with the skis just to say they were stoked to sell to someone in North America. That was cool.

I want a 115…

Have you checked out the Tunnelvisjon, as a playfull-big mountain-deep snow-tourer? it might hit the spot with it's bamboo and poppel core ;)

Hope the winter serves you many good adventures!
