Tunnelvisjon is a big mountain ski developed in close collaboration with Asbjørn Eggebø Næss, and is made to deliver the best experiences in big mountains! Asbjørn wanted a ski that could handle the whole specter of big mountain riding, from large open lines, narrow couloirs, high cliffs and bottomless powder. At the same time it was a must that the ski could handle challenging conditions. With the latest iteration of Tunnelvisjon, we have a ski that can cater for all these demands, and at the same time being light enough to use as a touring ski. If you dream of following Asbjørns tracks in the mountains, this is the ski for you!

Freeride tip with long rocker and taper

This tip will float and maneuver easily thanks to its ecliptic rocker design and tapered sidecuts. No matter the speed or snow, this will be fun to ski! The design even helps with uphill performance so you can get to the top as effortlessly as possible.

Camber under foot

A traditional cambered design gives you stability and versatility in any condition. On hardpack a camber design is unmatched.

Freeride tail

The tail is designed to be directionally stable in high speeds, but at the same time handle playful skiing in smaller terrain. An important feature is also the ability to quickly shut down speed when needed. The tail is constructed in ABS-plastic to be as durable as possible

Full poplar and bamboo wood core

By combining two types of wood, we ensure the best possible performance-to-weight ratio. Bamboo is a strong, responsive and bouncy wood, while poplar is very durable and responsive. Combined, the two give us a stable, responsive and playful core in a lightweight package. The Okulen 7150-base delivers great glide and durability throughout the season.

Sandwich construction

A sandwich construction delivers uncompromised power transfer and torsional stiffness in a durable package. Our scratch free topsheet is designed to handle all the beating your skis get season after season on the mountain. It is also developed so that a minimal amount of snow sticks to the topsheet.

Through a long life in the mountains, Asbjørn has sought out most of the mountain ranges Norway has to offer. On this ski he has collected some of his favorite peaks from the west coast. Some of the peaks are skiable, others not. Can you spot which ones?

RECOMMENDED ACCESORIES

Tunnelvisjon is a performance driven ski, and can be paired with a variety of bindings, depending on your intended use case. Are you going to play in the resort, the best choice is without a doubt a traditional ISO-binding like Marker Jester. If you mostly plan to take your skis touring we suggest a downhill oriented binding like Dynafit Rotation 14. Are you going to do a bit of both, a binding like Armada Shift will be the perfect partner in crime.

Heil ved !

Herregud for ei morsom ski ! Skien liker seg bedre jo høgare farten blir, både i store svingar, men også teknisk kjøring i skogen. Min nye go-to ski, uansett føre!

Det er absolutt ei ski som kan vere med å pushe grensene, så her er det berre å gi gass og kose seg maks til fjells!!

Storfjellsplankar!

Store ski, laga for stor kjøring. Våkner til live og blir egentlig ganske «leikne» og lettkjørte i stor fart. Fantastisk ski i variabel vindpåvirka snøv, stort pluss for det! Den her kjem eg til å kose meg med lenge! Desse skia likar ikkje at du ligg bakpå. Vær aggressiv!

Endelig i kortere lengde!

Denne skia har jeg sikla på lenge, og nå har den endelig blitt produsert i kortere lengder. Min opplevelse er at skia er fartsglad og stabil i store svinger ned fjellet. Jeg har montert gåbindinger på mine og gleder meg til turer til vinteren igjen.

En rålekker ski! Anbefales! En ski som flyter ekstremt bra på snøen, og gjør nedfarten magisk! For min type bruk, passer skien perfekt. Litt bredere og lengre ski for en enda bedre nedfart i løssnø!
