The new Almonte 12 touring binding combines good properties for the ascent with superior properties for the descent. The new toe binding with ergonomically developed lever for easy loosening of the binding, and a simplified step-in with an optimized and narrower position of the pins for easier positioning of the boot, make it very nice to use on long days in the mountains. The Almonte heel is a sure winner with a super easy switch between tour and ski mode, as well as an automatic brake where all locking parts are built in to prevent icing. It has 3 adjustments on heel lifts (0/6.5/12 degrees), which ensure a comfortable ride uphill at different steepnesses.

The boot binding set-up can be easily adjusted and optimized using the included "spacer"/or "performance spacers", to get good pressure from the heel down into the ski.

With the new motto of Tyrolia "Explore new paths", a new approach to material use was also made - for example by ensuring that all plastic parts on the binding were made with renewable raw materials. These functions and the light weight of 325g, including brake, make the new Almonte binding an optimal binding for long days in the mountains.
